Automated Telephone payments
To pay your Council Tax by telephone call 01706 217777 and select option 2. Lines are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Pay Council Tax in person
You can pay your Council Tax by cash in Post Offices and where you see the PayPoint logo (in convenience stores, newsagents, supermarkets and service stations). You must take your barcoded bill with you to make payment.

Pay Council Tax by post
You can pay your Council Tax by cheque. Please make your cheque payable to 'Rossendale Borough Council' and write your Council Tax account reference number on the back.

Post-dated cheques will not be accepted.
If you require a receipt please enclose a stamped addressed envelope.
Standing Order/Telephone and Internet Banking
If you wish to pay by standing order or telephone/internet banking you will need to quote our bank account details in addition to your council tax reference number and the amount you wish to pay
