Crime or antisocial behaviour
Some nuisance behaviour is a crime, not antisocial behaviour. Crimes should be reported to the police.
Only the police are able to deal with issues such as:
- assault
- criminal damage, including vandalism
- drug use, cultivation or drug dealing
- hate crime
- prostitution or kerb crawling
Call 999 if you or someone else is in immediate danger, or if a crime is in progress. Otherwise you can report it online
If it is not an emergency call 101, or contact the Neighbourhood Policing Team on 01706 237367 to report the incident to the police, or contact Crimestoppers to give information about crime anonymously.
Hate crime
A hate crime is a crime committed against someone because of their disability, gender-identity, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation. You can report a hate crime to the police online or call them on 101.
