The Valley is renowned for its beautiful, undulating landscape, and is rich in outdoor activities like walking, cycling and horse riding. History and Heritage is abundant in the valley’s buildings and in the traditions still practiced throughout the area.

Rossendale has the distinction of not being a place but a collection of towns and villages all with their own individual character, and together make up what is known locally as The Valley.
