The 6 week public consultation is the statutory period that applies to this stage of Plan preparation. Comments were sought on three main areas:
- Soundness – has the plan been positively prepared, justified, effective, and consistent with national policy?
- Legal – have the relevant legal procedures been followed?
- Duty to Co-operate – have we liaised effectively with Neighbouring Authorities; infrastructure providers, etc?
